Great Lakes Equine Wellness Center is a full-service equine
hospital. It was established in 1986 (known as Great Lakes Veterinary
Clinic) as a local referral center in the Fox Valley area for
horses requiring specialized medical and surgical care. In 2006,
Dr. Robert Blohowiak purchased the clinic, changed the name to
Great Lakes Equine Wellness Center. On April 1, 2009, GLEWC moved
into a new state-of-the-art hospital and clinic – centrally located
in Hortonville, Wisconsin.
The hospital facility offers a full range of services including
surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging and reproductive
care. The practice also provides ambulatory services for emergencies,
preventative care, general reproduction, radiography, medical
care and treatment of your horse at home. At GLEWC, our reputation
stems from our commitment to quality, because it's all
about the health of your horse.
